Sep 01, 2019 Adventure Zuma Game: So, We have a classic Zuma game. We are sure that you know those games. It is about a tile-matching puzzle game that gives you a task to eliminate all of the balls rolling around the screen along a given path with other balls in Adventure Zuma. In the game Zuma Adventure as usual you need to shoot balls from a frog into a moving line of the colourful balls. There is a frog in the centre of the playing field. It is here only to protect the holy symbol. You have to destroy these balls connecting them in groups of three or more of the same colour.
- General Tips & Tricks
General Tips & Tricks
A few tricks will make your time with “Zuma’s Revenge” a little easier. Our tricks will give you a helping hand during a challenge fight. Make sure you review them all to master “Zuma’s Revenge!”
– Go for the largest collections of color first to acquire multipliers and zuma much quicker.
– Achieving zuma will help you conquer each level. To acquire zuma, you need to fill the orange bar at the top of the screen by gaining points from destroying lines of balls. Zuma will reverse the direction of the balls. In addition, zuma will give you time to figure out what to do next.
– Begin the game slowly. Knowing the basic concepts introduced in the tutorial are essential to completing later levels.
– You can plan two moves ahead by looking at the next ball in your frog’s inventory.
– The level will end once all of the balls are destroyed.
– If no balls in the line match the color of ball you are holding, then shoot it off to the side.
– Never destroy the last ball in line until the very end. Destroying the final ball will push the other balls forward.
– You will reach a checkpoint after the first six levels of a stage.
– There are a few bonuses that will help you acquire more points in each level. The different bonuses require separate conditions to be met. As you play, you will want different bonuses depending on the situation.
— When you complete a level within the ace time, you will receive the ace time bonus.
— The chain bonus requires you to cause five or more explosions in succession. Once the fifth explosion is triggered, you will acquire a bonus for subsequent explosions that you trigger.
— A combo bonus occurs when two groups of the same color, separated by an off color, collide. All you need to do is destroy the balls between the two groups of the same color. Combo bonuses provide the player with a passive boost to points gained during combinations.
— An end level bonus depends on the distance the final ball was from the skull’s mouth when it was destroyed.
— The fruit bonus will net you more points per explosion. To acquire the fruit bonus, destroy a collection of balls that are the same color that cover the fruit. Directly after firing your ball, fire another to hit the fruit.
— Firing between balls to hit balls behind them is known as a gap bonus. The narrower the gap, the greater the bonus. Causing an explosion during a gap bonus will net you even more points!
Game Modes
“Zuma’s Revenge” has four different game modes. Adventure mode is the main mode, and it must be completed before the other modes are unlocked.
Adventure mode is the primary mode in “Zuma’s Revenge.” In adventure mode, you will advance through a series of levels and stages. Luckily, we have a few tricks to get you through it faster. At the end of each stage is a boss that must be defeated. Refer to the bosses section if you need a few tips to defeat them! You will also acquire upgrades to your spirit temple by advancing through adventure mode.
Weekly challenge is a mode that is updated every week. The challenge varies week to week, but our tricks will help you complete them.
Iron frog is a challenge to complete every stage as fast as possible while acquiring as many points as possible. While you can view iron frog as a personal challenge, there are leaderboards that will give you insight into how you compare against other players. Our tricks and quick tips will help you boost your score. The difficulty of iron frog is higher than the difficulty in adventure mode.
Boss Rush is the final mode. You will go up against each of the game’s bosses with a finite number of lives. Boss mode can be fairly difficult. Luckily, our guide and tips will help you down all of them.
How to play
The basics of “Zuma’s Revenge” are simple enough. You will play as a frog that can spit balls at a line of other balls that will appear from a single source. If the line of balls reaches the golden skull, then you will lose a life.

The frog can’t move horizontally or vertically. He can only spin based on the orientation of your mouse or controller stick. Once the frog is facing in the direction you desire, simply click to have him fire a ball. The goal is to line up three or more balls of the same color and detonate them to acquire points. Your zuma counter will also increase based on the points you acquire.
The levels in “Zuma’s Revenge” become progressively more difficult and are divided into stages. At the end of each stage is a challenging boss that must be defeated. If a boss trips you up, check out our strategies and tips for dealing with them!
Bosses
“Zuma’s Revenge” has six bosses that you must take down to complete the game. Each boss presents its own set of unique challenges. We have a few tips that will make them a little easier to tackle.
Kahtiki Khan
– Khan takes damage when he is hit by a ball that you fire at him.
– Khan is protected by rows of balls that prevent you from hitting him easily.
— To overcome the ball obstacle, wait for Khan to move behind a group of balls that are the same color. Destroy the cluster and quickly fire at Khan again.
– While waiting, keep the row closest to you clear of balls.
– Combos are very useful when trying to open up a shot.
– Avoid being hit by his stones. The stones will stun you for a second or two.
Maga Maga
– Maga takes damage when he is hit by a ball that you fire at him.
– Like Khan, Maga is protected by a row of balls. All you need to do is clear a gap in the balls to hit him and his tikis.
– Maga also has two tiki protectors. Before you can damage Maga, you will need to destroy his two tiki protectors by striking them with a ball. You will know Maga is vulnerable when the gate in front of him disappears.
– Avoid Maga’s attacks. When you are hit, you will move in the opposite direction from the one you indicate.
Zuma Deluxe Adventure Game
Baron Digo
– Digo is protected by a row of balls. Overhead, you will see skeletons that zip by over the balls. The best strategy is to clear a gap and hit one of the skeletons.
— Once you have hit a skeleton, a blue beam will fire from your frog’s mouth. Quickly drag your frog in the direction of Digo and hit him with the beam.
Kolo Kamari
– Balls marked with a bomb are the only way to damage Kamari. Time the explosion of a bomb ball when it is near Kamari.
– Kamari will occasionally move across the zone.
– Avoid the mosquitoes! They will slow you and your balls down.
– Kamari requires a great deal of patience. You will spend most of your time clearing balls and keeping them from the skull at the end.
Cephalo Ka
– Ka is protected by a blue circle that will prevent you from hitting him. To land a hit, you will need to destroy bomb balls near him. The bomb balls will do a little bit of damage after exploding.
– Ka’s shield will regenerate over time, so make sure you keep the pressure up!
– If you can fire a ball that passes through a gap in Ka’s shield, then you will do a large chunk of damage.
Zaka Mu And His Cronies
– Mu has five separate stages.
– The first stage will complete after you create a gap and shoot the boss. Congratulations!
– You will be taken immediately to the next boss. Your objective is simply to create gaps and shoot the boss. His attacks will prevent you from firing and slow you down.
– Mu appears after Crumbleness is defeated. Mu begins much like Crumbleness, so just continue to open gaps and fire until he is dead.
– Shadow Frog is the final incarnation of Mu. Shadow Frog’s attacks mirror your own. To defeat him, open a gap while you are beneath him and fire a ball right after. Remain where you are until your ball hits! Moving before your ball makes contact will mean a miss.
– Shadow Frog’s attacks stun you. They can usually be avoided at the last second.

Zuma is a tile-matchingpuzzle video game published by PopCap Games. It can be played for free online at several websites, and was released for a number of platforms, including PDAs, mobile phones, and the iPod.[1]
An enhanced version, called Zuma Deluxe, was released for Microsoft Windows and Mac OS X as well as an Xbox Live Arcade download for the Xbox 360 and a PlayStation Network download for the PlayStation 3.[2]

Gameplay[edit]
The objective of Zuma is to eliminate all of the balls rolling around the screen along a given path (the path is clearly visible in all of the levels except for the last level) with other balls before these balls reach the yellow skull structure, which will open to varying degrees as a warning of oncoming balls. The player can carry two balls at a time and can switch at any time. As soon as one ball reaches the skull, the rest follow and the player loses a life. To prevent the balls from reaching the skull, the player can eliminate the balls by firing a colored ball from the stone frog idol's mouth towards the chain of balls that will continue to push forward until the player fills the yellow bar, which is when the balls will stop producing off-screen. When three or more of the same color come in contact, they explode, possibly triggering other explosions as part of a chain reaction. The level is completed when after the bar is filled, the player eliminates all of the balls on the screen.
There are bonuses for collecting coins (usually through gaps), for causing explosions through gaps of other balls, and chains for having a streak of always causing an explosion with each consecutive ball (coins and chain bonuses are a quick way to fill the bar). Time bonuses are also awarded if a player completes the level within ace time - ranging from thirty seconds to four minutes depending on the level.
Four different types of power-ups show up in the balls, which can be activated by exploding the ball with the power-up. The backwards ball pushes the furthest-out chain (depending on if all of the balls are connected) backwards for a short length of time. The slow-down ball slows the speed of the chain of balls for a short length of time. The accuracy ball allows quicker shots and points an arrow at where the ball will be shot (this stays active for about the same amount of time as the slow-down ball; however, the size of the balls must be considered). The explosion ball explodes all of the balls within a small radius of the ball at the spot and time of its explosion. If not exploded quickly, power-up balls will return to their regular state after some time.
Adventure mode[edit]
Each regular adventure begins with three lives (represented by frogs in the upper-left hand corner of the screen), but extra lives are earned with every 50,000 points. Shooting a coin with a ball, making multiple groups of balls explode with a single shot, earning chain bonuses, shooting through gaps in the balls, or finishing a level within a certain period of time (called ace time) will give extra points.
The levels are organized into temples, and the initial temple consists of three 'worlds' of five levels each (the fifth level in each stage is unique in having two tracks of balls instead of the usual one). No level in the first world contains tunnels, and the first level of each world is tunnelless.Worlds one to three have four colors of balls: red, blue, green, and yellow, worlds four to six add purple, and from world seven on, white is added in the variety. Levels are eventually added to worlds: The second temple, which contains worlds four to six, has six levels, while the third temple, which contains worlds seven to nine, has seven levels. The fourth and final temple (which is hidden until a player unlocks world ten for the first time) contains worlds ten to twelve, which also consists of seven levels each. Worlds ten to twelve are essentially the same as seven to nine, but for each level, 5,000 points must be scored to completely fill the Zuma bar. Also, the balls come out further at the start of the level, and the chain of balls moves along slightly faster. If the player loses all of their lives, the game ends, and they must start again at the beginning of the last stage they advanced up. However, if the player is able to beat all 12 worlds, they are taken to the 'Space' level, which is longer than all previous levels, has less color-grouping among the balls, and has no visible path for the balls to follow. This level cannot be accessed without first completing world twelve. Upon beating this level, the player wins the game (if a player fails to beat the Space level, they must beat all of world twelve again before getting another chance to win). All the remaining lives at the end of a game are each worth 50,000 additional points to add on to the final score.
Gauntlet mode[edit]
Zuma also offers the gauntlet mode, where a player can choose to play in a level they have already reached in adventure mode, and either practice to beat the level, or play in survival mode, where the difficulty in colors and speed of balls will gradually increase. The level classifications of the gauntlet mode, in order, are Rabbit, Eagle, Jaguar, and Sun God. A player is required to fill seven stages in practice mode or seven yellow bars in survival mode before advancing to the next level. Upon reaching Sun God, in which the balls move in constant speed even when nearing the skull, a player can continue endlessly, since the level classification has no limit in both stages and bars.
Plagiarism controversy[edit]
The Japanese developer Mitchell Corporation claims Zuma infringes on the intellectual property of their 1998 arcade game, Puzz Loop, which was released as Ballistic outside Japan.[4][5][6] Mitchell re-released the design in 2006 as the Nintendo DS game Magnetica. PopCap asserted that Zuma was 'not an exact clone', with founder Jason Kapalka saying that he was 'happy' with the idea of games being cloned by other developers, so long as the new version added to the gameplay of the game it had copied.[7]
Reception[edit]
The editors of Computer Gaming World nominated Zuma Deluxe as their 2004 'Arcade Classic of the Year', although it lost to Sid Meier's Pirates!.[8]
The editors of Computer Gaming World nominated Zuma for their 2003 'Puzzle Game of the Year' award, which ultimately went to Bookworm. They wrote, 'From Bejeweled to Rocket Mania to Zuma, PopCap has constantly found new ways to spell 'addiction.' '[9]
Legacy[edit]
A sequel, Zuma's Revenge!, was launched on September 15, 2009 for Windows and Mac.[10]Zuma Blitz went live on Facebook on December 14, 2010, and was described by PopCap as 'the social adaptation' providing players with 'the first competitive and cooperative iteration of Zuma in the game's history.'[11]
